Hotel Kilmore Extension

In 2016 S&A Construction were appointed to construct a fully-serviced two-storey extension to Hotel Kilmore near Cavan Town. The expansion included 36 bedrooms, bridal suite a private gym, new function room, administration offices and connection to public service works.

Each room was fully furnished with an interior package that is simply the finest available. The contractor created many local jobs during the construction phase and sourced all products locally and within Ireland. The project, which was completed three months ahead of schedule, also saw the lobby and reception area transformd with a most stylish refurbishment. The works included the strip-out of the existing furniture and fittings, and the remodelling of the interior.

Slieve Russell Hotel

S&A Construction were appointed to renovate, transform and modernise the lobby area and cfunction rooms of The Slieve Russell Hotel in Ballyconnell. The end product was a magnificent new arrivals area leading to the function room, Shannon, Erne and Woodland Suites.

New cielings, heating and ventilation was installed and the rooms were rewired. In the function room, exquisite carpets and chandeliers were fitted. The chandeliers generate a warm, inviting atmosphere with new LED lighting cascading from the cielings which can be changed in colour to match themes and moods of a function, in the day or night at any time, courtesy of a touch screen. In addition, a new reception area was created in the leisure centre.

Bruskey Community Hall

S&A Construction were appointed to contruct a new Community Centre in Bruskey

This project involved the construction of a new community hall which would serve as a multi-purpose centre for the community which consisted of a main hall, meeting room, new kitchen fit-out, new toilet fit-out, external works which included new parking facilities. This project started in April 2018 and finished in December 2018, which was well within the scheduled time.

Murphs Bistro

S&A Construction were appointed to build a decking area and upgraded car park to Murphs Bistro in Butlersbridge.
The decking area on this project created a zone for al-fresco dining, a well-designed and decking space.
A glass railing with strip lighting were added to the terrace to enhance the outdoor seating area. The parking area had aco drains fitted, a tarmacadam surface & finished with line markings.

Cabu

S&A Construction were appointed for the project in Killykeen Forest Park, Cavan. Killykeen Forest Park is on the shored of Lough Oughter and is a beautiful scenic area in Co. Cavan

This project involved the upgrading of the holiday village over a three-year period. This involved the refurbishment of all the log cabins and lake houses, we also erected a new shop, clubhouse, spa & treatment room.

All the buildings are beautiful timber framed with elegant voluminous spaces which are designed to articulate the timber frame.

Kilmore Bar & Toilets

S&A Construction were appointed to refurbish the Hotel Kilmore Bar & Toilets.
The bar was elegantly decorated using the finest fabrics, lighting and wood to create a blend of elegance, comfort and sophisticated finished creating a truly relaxing atmoatmosphere
The toilets have been beautifully decorated to create a clean and crisp finish.

Safe T-Cert Accredited

In 2020, S&A Construction were accredited the Safe T-Certificate.

Clontarf Castle Hotel

S&A Construction were appointed for the refurishment of 115 bathrooms in Clontarf Castle.

All bathrooms were stripped out completely and we fitted new sanitary ware, new wall & floor tiles.
Upgraded electrical works and all bathrooms were fitted with new mirrors.

Milbury Nursing Home

S&A Construction were ppointed for the project of a purpose built, residential Nursing Home in Navan, Co. MeatConstruction

Milbury Nursing Home was fitted with state of the art facilities all set within landscaped gardens that create a tranquil environment.

This project was completed within budget and before the planned time of completion.
